What Are SARMs?

SARMs are selective androgen receptor modulators. They are a type of drug that targets specific androgen receptors to cause increased muscle growth. They are similar to steroids in that steroids also cause muscle growth. However, SARMs generally target skeletal muscle while steroids are broader and tend to cause muscle increases in skeletal and organ tissue. Due to this SARMs seem to have fewer side effects than traditional anabolic steroids.

SARMs were generally developed to treat certain conditions like muscle wasting disease and osteoporosis. Some of the benefits of SARMs are increased muscle growth, increased endurance and stamina, bone density growth and stronger bones, and improve sex drive and sexual performance.
